Stopped by on a busy Sunday afternoon with a small group of fellow motorcycle riders, was told that the wait was 25 - 30 minutes or we could sit at the bar for immediate service so we took the bar offer and was pleasantly surprised by the service we received considering how swamped she was filling orders from the tables guests. The patty melt was one of the best I've ever had with the bread being lightly toasted and the patty cooked a perfect medium with great flavor. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!
When you can't find a parking spot within a block in Payton you know it has to be good. Excellent food and service. I will definitely be back.
So many home cooked meals. Sysco doesn't deliver their pie, they make it from scratch. Real home cooking from scratch. Real down home friendly service! Delicious food!! To the reviewer guy who ordered a pizza 5 minutes before the kitchen closed... you're a zero star customer and that's just rude. You can't be in a hurry in rural Iowa!
